Although the apartments were nice (I lived in two CIP properties), CIP is best to be avoided. After cleaning the first apartment spotless, they still charged me for cleaning, and tried to charge us for additional days that we did not live there. The second CIP apartment charged us for carpet that they did not replace and do not plan to replace for at least a year. They also tried to charge us for a month rent after we moved out, claiming they could not find someone to take over our lease. The company we work for paid the fees for the corporate clause, but CIP tried to charge for another month. We let them know that friends would be checking to see if they had rented the apartment and then they had he apartment rented. Just beware!

I kind of agree with the "bad experience" response (even though that was a long time ago). I rented with CIP for a long time, Skyline View specifically. The apartments and the community was fairly nice, no complaints there. The staff was average. I will say that they gave off a sarcastic vibe, and didn't really seem genuine though. The only really complaint I have is when I moved out, and they took my entire deposit, and them some. Stupid, ridiculous charges like replacing light bulbs, painting, and claiming that there was 7 hours of professional cleaning done. I wanted to vomit when I received the move-out letter. Replacing light bulbs is necessary anyway, along with refreshing the paint in the apartment before someone moves in. My point is that they charge you up the a$$ on EVERYTHING...things that need to be done ANYWAY as standard procedure!!!! My mom would agree with me too- they did the same thing to her at Stone Ridge Estates. I have confidence in what I say because I work for another apartment community, and know that that's just ridiculous. We only charge for necessary, common-sense things, like holes in the wall or considerable damage to the carpet. Carpet cleaning is even included, no charge! But whatever, I don't rent from CIP anymore. Good Luck!
