Don't move here!!!!!

If you like obnoxiously loud drunk college kids, then this place is for you. I am woken up almost every night (from 1-4 am) with loud parties. Last week there was a drunken naked orgy in the pool at 3:30 am on a weeknight. Maintenance does not clean the grounds, so if you like looking at beer cans, trash, cigarette butts etc, then go ahead and rent here. A pony keg sat in the hallway for 2 days before it was removed. In the laundry room (which has key entry), is a locked storage unit, but not sure what good it does, since they leave the window open in there, for anyone to hop inside and steal laundry or any items in the storage area. There is no maintenance on premises. Don't even bother calling the contact number if you have an emergency, the guy won't call you back. And surprise, he is also the property manager, so you can really tell that he doesn't care in the least. I have had so many problems with my apartment. My kitchen sink flooded with green waste water and black moldy food and sat there for hours, and backed up again and again overflowing underneath fridge, going into drawers and ruining my appliances among other items ($600 worth of damages) It took the 24hr contact (prop mgr) 4 hrs to call me back. Office offered me a roll of quarters to wash my now worthless towels, but that was it. What a joke. Then came the great bathroom flood. I was woken up around 1:30 in the morning to the sound of pouring water. Water was coming out the ceiling a/c vent and a 2ft crack had opened up on ceiling, pouring water as well. I started calling the emergency contact right then, and it wasn't until 7:45 the next morning he called me back. In the meantime, I had buckets holding gallons of water. When he called back he was the biggest jerk I have ever come across. The said they cut into the ceiling (no cuts found) and there is no water coming from bathroom upstairs and it wasn't from the a/c condenser either. That they just didn't know what is was, and to perhaps keep the buckets on the ground in case it happened again. They didn't even repair the 2 ft crack in the ceiling!! They said it might be from rain water...hmm...I live on the bottom floor, how am I going to get rain water in the middle of the apartment, on the bottom floor, if no other floors have gotten any damage. What a load of crap. My ceiling is caving in and they refuse to do anything about it. There are huge water stains and a 42 x 36 rectangle that is cracking...seems to me they don't want to shell out major bucks for new piping. It's apparent work was done there before I moved in, so whatever patchwork they do, is not cutting it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. But, if you like living in a toxic environment, with uncaring, unprofessional staff, and loud obnoxious neighbors, then I wish you the best of luck, you will need it.
