I really liked the location, but there are a number of things I did not prefer: there is a loud night club in the basement, the parking is not readily available for a decent price, there are no elevators, the studios are not temperature efficient because they are brick and the windows do not tightly seal, the doors only have a turn lock and do not have a chain lock (which is annoying if "maintenance" doesn't realize you are inside), the train station is directly behind the building and it is frequently noisy because of this. From the time that I lived there the bathtub would not drain and I called maintenance. From the previous tenant there was, among other things, an old razor blade. He told me he thought it could be me (I didn't use that kind) and I "should" go to a hardware store and get a "snake" so I can do it myself next time.

The deposit is one months rent (not cheap) and they charged me roughly $70 for "sticky floors" (I scrubbed them on my hands and knees), $40 for dust on the air handlers (11 feet up), $30 for not having a standard shower head (I never changed it), $50 for not having a clean stove (which was shiny when we were done with it), among other "miscellaneous" items. Overall, the landlords are a pain to deal with and are not open to compromise.
