Highpointe Apartments has been an excellent place to live. Unfortunately, I am transferring cities once again so I have to move. I am at the end of my lease, yet the management is doing everything they can to get my unit rented to minimize my costs, which is much appreciated.

They also have been very responsive to my maintenance requests. For instance, when I moved in, there was a tear in the kitchen vinyl floor. Instead of doing a half a$$ job fixing it, they decided to replace the entire vinyl floor in the kitchen and bathroom. It was also done in a very timely manner and they worked around my schedule to make sure the repair did not inconvenience me.

The washer and dryers in every unit are also a very nice convenience and I love having an ice maker.

If you are looking for a place in Lincoln, Highpointe is by far the best value on the south side of town.

The only negative is that it's difficult to break a lease in that you are required to pay your rent until they find another renter. This can be a bit of a gamble if you are on the move a lot. Fortunately, the management does a good job in trying to locate another renter. I had another co-worker that lived here and Highpointe was able to re-rent his apartment almost immediately, thus costing him only a few hundred dollars to break the lease.
