the owner of this complex treats people like they are underneath her.
maintenance takes weeks to fix a problem.
they will find a way to charge you hundreds of dollars in cleaning fees, even if you leave it spotless.
the grounds have had ice on the roads since november. after complaints, i find they only use sand which doesn't melt the ice. very dangerous to walk outside.

the maintenance tell you about there personal problems, and that there are sex offenders living on the property

Hey did you ever get your money back for your deposit? I just moved out of Kensington park in March of 2008. And they did the same thing to me so I am trying to decide what to do about.

We never had maintenance telling us about problems, and we certainly never heard about sex offenders living there... I find that very hard to believe. If you look at the sex offender registry you can clearly see that there are no registered sex offenders in these apartments. And, as far as the owner goes, I don't know who you thought the owner was, but the actual owner of these apartments is very nice and down to earth. I have never seen her treat someone in the way that you have described. Also, the ice problem... it's Lincoln. There is ice. Once it's there, you can't really make it magically disappear. Just be thankful that they put down material to attempt to do something about it unlike so many other places.

I've seen first hand the disrespect exhibited to people of color by this owner.
