If you live at Lakeside Village, then prepare for:

- Dishonest management, such as when your rent gets raised from when you made your deposit to when you sign your lease

- More dishonest management, such as when they say they will get back to you about a maintenance request (and then don't)

- A "secured access door" that gets propped open every night for parties

- A pool that opens late, shuts down early, and then electronically locks you inside of it promptly at 10:00 p.m. without any notice. Be prepared to scale the 7 or 8 foot high fence.

- A wonderful 24 hour "on call" maintenance number -- oops, I mean, a wonderful 24 hour CALL CENTER. Oh, and even if you DO get a hold of someone, be prepared to wait at least 3-4 days before you get a response back -- even if there is a real emergency, such as a light fixture dripping rusty water on your furniture.

- Even more dishonest management, such as when the head manager doesn’t honor the word of her assistant manager. So, if the assistant manager tells you anything, it doesn’t matter.

- Contracts that will mysteriously change overnight

- Friendly service, such as when you get a hole smashed into your wall without notice by a maintenance person, then have to call the office four times to get them to come fix it.


And, best of all, if you post a long, honest, 2000 word review of Lakeside Village, then management will get Apartment Ratings.com to remove it! Yep, and they will also post under pseudonyms and pretend to be residents. That is the only reason their approval rating on this site isn’t 0%!

The apartments sure look pretty at first, but do you really want to forfeit the next year of your life to an apartment manager who will barrage, intimidate, and lie right to your face' I guess that’s up to you.
