Pretty decent place to live

We've lived here for two years now and have enjoyed most of our experiences. We have had a decent relationship with the manager, although when we moved in, the assistant manager told us one thing and the manager only honored a couple of her promises- make sure you understand EVERYTHING and have EVERY AGREEMENT IN WRITING before ANYTHING IS SIGNED. But overall, our relationship with the management has been ok. We lost a roommate and it was really easy to switch from a 3 bed to a 2 bed and both the manager and assistant manager know us by our first names. In both apartments, we have had a problem with bugs. In the 3 bed unit, it was midges (which plague the entire Capitol Beach area) and this apartment (2bed) it's tiny jumping spiders and silverfish. We've had maintenance spray for bugs on numerous occasions, and yet they are still around. The maintenance guy is very nice and always courteous. My roommate's bedroom wall shares the pipes for the bathrooms and it's pretty noisy for her- she will NEVER live with neighbors above us again because of this. Parking is good although visiting parking usually fills up pretty fast- and if you're a visitor parked in the resident lot without a tag, you'll get towed!! Very NICE ROOMS and very modern appliances and look, decent closet space and fitness center. Not a place for kids- a lot of college students and young professionals seem to live here.
