Place is built cheap. They didn't heat interior of buildings and I had two water pipes burst because of it. I came home to find a bunch of my stuff ruined sitting on a pile in my living room- they refused to compensate me. There was trash in my apt when i moved in. They kept my entire deposit and tried to charge me extra for no reason. I have lived in multiple apts and never had a penny taken before. HORRIBLE.

The trash and deposit thing are something that should have been addressed by the management, and that was probably wrong. The pipe bursting and your stuff being ruined isn't something that's their fault. They legally don't have to compensate you anything for things that are damaged because of that; that's what renter's insurance is for. It protects you when things like that happen.
