Where do I even start! The Reviews that are already posted should be enough! !

I moved from out of state to Lincoln, NE. The staff didn't know their head from their rear if you get what I'm saying. I moved into the Links at the end of August 08". Let me tell you how very diappointed I am. I dislike Businesses to make it seem like They have a Great Community and their Complex is the next place to call home! More like a 2 bit trailer park with the trash!

I have to agree with others who said "I dont think that their is ANYONE who works there that is over 23". The staff was rude, uppity, rolled thier eyes at you if you had a problem in your apartment, it seemed like you were asking to much for them to do what is called their job, no manners at all! Im sorry but Folks in Scottsdale, AZ had better manners than them. By far their Professionalism is bar far the worst! I do know of some good Etiquette Schools In Scottsdale if they're interested! Mabe they should see about getting into Sharon Osbornes "Charm School" Lol

I have NEVER came across an apartment complex with such a shoty job, cheap materials, and cheap BAD WINDOWS! After moving in about a month after Lincoln got its first snow, its was cold as Hell! Why did ALL My Windows in My Apartment have 1" thick of ICE going towards the middle of the window! Lets just say you could scrap off some Ice put it in a glass to keep your drink cold! HUGE amount of COLD AIR Coming off the Windows and DOORS! HUGE GAPS Between the Door frames and the door itself. Letting in Lots of cold air from the outside. My Electric bill for one month is over $100.00.

I have cracks in the foundation in the apartment. The baseboards have gaps in them, and I had a huge problem in the begining with Big Black Furry Spiders!

Who installs showers the way the were installed'' In all the apartments I have lived in and the house I had the the Faucets were on the same wall as the Toilet.

If you have a maintenance problem you have to go ALL the way up to the office to fill out a Maintenance Request Form. Or if your neighbours are very loud on a dailey basis you have to go ALL The way up to the office and fill out another form for that! Again in ALL The Apartment Complexes I have lived in A phone call was all I needed to do and it got done. Here you can expect days before anything gets fixed.

The Mailboxes are another thing. This falls on both the Management and TENANTS! Talk about your everyday trailer trash. I don't care what race you is I'm talkin to you! I have pictures to prove what my mail box area looks like. I believe its Wednesday when everybody gets those flyers and advertisements in the mail, what do the folks do! THEY THROW IT ON THE GROUND OR LEAVE IT ON THE COUNTER! I MEAN PILES OF ADS EVRYWHERE! I guess its to much to take their lazy asses over to the trash can that sits only a couple of feet from the mail boxes to throw it away! Then it sits their for days before it ever gets cleaned up.

My Nieghbours above me, well lets just say its WWE vs RAW everyday of the week!

I have only been in this apartment Since Late October 2008, It's now the First part of Jan. 09' I have gone to look at other apartments, and why do these people tell me that they have heard not so good things from other tenants that moved from there. one apartment complex that I looked at the girl who was showing me the apartment aske me "Why" I was asking so many questions, I told her what I was going thru without telling her where I was living, then she asks me where is that I lived, so I told her. Why does this girl proceed to tell me, she used to work and live there but it was so bad that she was only there for 3 months. And why did she proceed to tell me that "The Management" And Most of its staff Just Upped and left or was either Canned. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .

So I went to the office just recently and guess what! I believe its the owners up there now. And ALL New Staff. But that doesn't fix my problems. I was recently told that I have a past due water, trash, & sewer bill. Ummm. Nobody told me that when I moved in. WTH! I was told I was resposible for the electric and was given the information to call the electric company. Nothing was said about WATER, SEWER, ELECTRIC. Anyways, I made my complaints, showed them the VEDIO of the windows, ect and asked how much it was to buy out of my lease because i don't want to live here anymore. At first the guy said 3 months worth of rent, then i started asking questions like when would that be due, will it be due when I give notice' He goes in the back talks with the owner and comes back and it changed from well your lease doesn't end til October of 2009 so you would need to finish out your lease. Ummm.. WTH!!! Then he said that it would hurt me because they would put it on my credit report and when other apartment complexes call to verify everything then they would have to tell them that I broke my lease. WTH!!! Even though the people up in the office now are different management why did they tell me they would be down here to look at the windows between 9a and noon on monday. Well guess what its 1205 and nobody has shown nor called. Don't tell me that your here to mae a change and still you are doing the same thing as the people before.

I wouldn't waste your time with even looking at the links. You are better off going elsewhere unless you want the nightmares like all of us are experiencing or have gone thru. . The apartments itself are not worth the amountof rent they ask but I guess you need to get the money somewhere to pay for the tanning bulbs and the golf right'
