Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002
I lived at Lionsgate for 2 1/2 years (2000-2002). I lived in a 3rd floor larger 1 BR apartment. When moving in, I was impressed with the "controlled access" feature, however, during my time there, the doors seemed to be propped open most of the time which is not safe. Random people roam the halls. The parking lots could also use some improved lighting. While the living room is quite spacious in this apartment, the kitchen area is incredibly small and could use some updated appliances. I also rented a garage while at Lionsgate, and overall I thought that it was way too expensive for what you acually get! I belive that with the 3rd floor (which they charge extra for) and the garage I paid $600. Don't be fooled by the "model" apartment--ask to see the actual apartment that you would be renting so that you know what you are getting.
