When I first moved into Lionsgate I thought it was going to be great. Then came the bugs--cockroaches, tons of spiders, crickets. We called management to get this problem fixed and they told us someone comes by once a month, and when they did come by TWO MONTHS LATER I don't think they did anything because the infestation still exists. Then there is the draftiness of the windows, and the fireplace even went the vent is closed. This winter we suffered in the coldness because if we turned our heater up past 60 the bill went skyrocketing. Another problem I have is with the management. We have had several instances where there was a lack of communication between the corporate management leaving us notices on the door we already solved with the front office, and every time we called to say we already settled this problem they would say "oh, yeah we know, we'll take care of it".
ANOTHER issue, is they do not screen who they let live here. Our neighbors above us party EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK. I can hear them pounding their base, and people run up and down the crappy staircase right on the wall of my bedroom and it shakes the whole wall. Try sleeping in that! I tried talking to the neighbors and they opened the door and the strong smell of marijuana hit me like a brick wall. They did quiet down for THAT night. I have also smelled marijuana floating from other apartments as well. Also, walking back to my apartment at night is just great with all the drunk guys on their patios cat-calling at me. It makes me feel really safe. So if you want to live somewhere were drugs and partying are cool, and you don't care about freezing to death or getting tons of bug bites you should definitely make LionsGate your home.
OH ONE MORE THING... NO PARKING, because of the partying you will never find parking. I have had to park in Best Buy's lot once because there wasn't a single available spot for a paying resident because of all these horrible parties. I pay way too much for this horrible of a residence.

Welcome to the real world. Anyone who turned their heat up this last winter got slammed with high heat bills. Try moving into a house and having all four walls with windows exposed to the elements instead of just one or two. Again, try moving into a house, and screening your neighbors. When wonderful government fair housing rules exist, you can't prevent people from living where they want. As for the exterminator- were you home 24 hours a day? Are you sure they didn't come before then? And even still, if exterminators were 100% foolproof, why are there any bugs in the world today? Oh, ONE MORE THING...there is ALWAYS parking available. When I lived there the parties still took place, but there is always parking. It might not be right by your building like you would enjoy, but there is always parking available. And it doesn't sound like such a big issue since you seem to find a spot every other time except the ONCE that you had to park elsewhere. At least some of us on here actually try and portray accurate information

Worst Place ever I agree. They are more like slumlords. Jacking up prices locking you in, and not fixing anything luxury. I just laugh everytime I see their homepage. What a joke!

My wife and I are considering a class-action lawsuit against Richdale Group to get our money back. If you are interested, contact us at richdale.apt@gmail.com and we will be in touch with you with any information we come up with.

parking wasnt a problem for my building, but we had a corner one so there was usually a spot....but you may have to walk. And I agree about the structure. It was always drafty and cold by the screen door and our bedroom window. We payed $500 for a one bedroom which was more like a little hut. If we tried to invite friends over there was nowhere for them to go. The one bedrooms are uselessly small, almost claustrophobic.

This was the worst place I have ever been in, I am handicapped and I had a friend who lived there and I would always come over to spend the night. I would never have a place to park because some dumb drunks would always park in the handicapped place or they would rip the sign out and I would have to wheel myself a block just to visit my friends! When I would have to use the bathroom I could never fit in the freakin door! HOW DO YOU EXPECT A WHEELCHAIR TO FIT THROUGH A TWO-BY-TWO DOORWAY!?!? There was no respect for anyone who is in a wheelchair at these apartments, and the whole place might as well be torn down and redone! I would never reccommend this to anyone able bodied or handicapped!

well, spiders everywhere! drafts everywhere! hot as hell in the summer unless the ac is turned up all the time. loud neighbors seems like the walls are paper thin. terrible parking. the outside doors are harder than hell just to unlock and management doesnt seem to care. management treats you nicely before you move in and then after you move in they act like dicks to you. They're maintanence people are jokes. They post ---- on the outside of your door instead of contacting you personally if you have a bill or something. And then theres the thing with dishes. My gf and i were having dish network installed, and the dish installer had to call Lionsgate management to get approval to install it, it was a sunday, so no one answered at the Lionsgate office in Lincoln, but they directed the installer to call Richdale Group in Omaha who approved the installation, so they installed it (which Dish has a 2 year lease). Three months after the installation Lionsgate staff kept putting notes on my door and calling me telling me i can't have the dish where it is even though Dish Network called Richdale Group to get the approval to put it there. I told Lionsgate all of this over and over again and they keep saying they'll get me a letter to give to Dish to get out of my lease with Dish so I can take down the dish. That was like six months ago now and they keep leavin notes and ---- on my door telling me to take down the dish. POOR MANAGEMENT! I would love this small little one bedroom apartment if the management wasn't so freakin terrible!!!
