I have lived at the Lodge apartments for almost a year now. When I first moved in I thought everything was great but after being here for awhile you start to see all the things that are wrong. For example we have paint chipping off cabinets and doors which are old and someone just painted over them. When its windy outside you can see the draft come through because our shades move. The claim of a 3.5 million dollar renovation is the biggest joke ever. They just slapped a paint job on and called it new. I have noticed in the corners of the walls there are lumps under the paint which probably is mold because I have never been so sick in my life intill I moved here.
We have also had major problems with our air conditioning. Maintenance has been to my apartment six times and even had a professional come out and fix it. That lasted a week and half. There has been times where it has been 85 degrees in my apartment and anybody that has asthma knows how much that sucks. My boyfriend's car got broken into and coming from a bad neighborhood where that didn't happen was kinda shocking.
I feel sorry for the groundskeeper because it seems like no one cleans up after their dogs. I have stepped into dog crap too many times I won't even walk in the grass anymore. I would not recommend anyone to live here it is so overpriced I feel like I'm being raped every time I pay rent.
The only good things about living here is they accept all animals and the management is nice but being nice doesn't fix my air conditioning.
