First of all when you move you don't even get to see the actual apartment you are going to rent, they just show you the Model apartment, which is "actually renovated".

They tell you they spent 3-3.5 million dollars on renovations, but that is total crap! Painting the walls earth tone colors and adding white paint to the kitchen cabinets and adding new cheap fake wood floors in the kitchen is not even close to a renovation. When you get to your apartment you discover there are a series of problems that will never be fixed! To name a few:
-Mold everywhere (no bleach, just paint)
-Holes in ceilings and closets
-Air conditioning breaks frequently
-No floorboards in some apartments
-Crappy paint job
-Stained carpet
-Broken, heavy patio doors
-Old drafty windows
-Leaky dishwashers
-All appliances are ancient
I could continue for hours, but you get my point. Basically if you want something fixed you might as well do it yourself or forget about it, or threaten to sue them to get something fixed in a timely manner.

If you have kids you can't even have them play in the grass due to DOG ---- EVERYWHERE!At night you might as well plan on parking a block or two away, no parking spaces!Don't get the wrong impression of you move here, the office staff and management is really nice, but they don't make sure things get taken care of.

Be careful when signing a lease, if they tell you they will replace something for you that is broke, get it in writing.

If you are brave enough to sign a lease be smart and at least look at your apartment before signing your life away to the biggest rip off apartment in Lincoln!
