Where do I begin in our experiance with The Lodge Apartments. Well it started before we even moved in. We signed a Move-In Agreement in late June for an apartment beginning in August (Yes, over a month ahead of time!) Nearly a month later within a couple weeks of moving in we had called them to find out what utilities we need to have put in our name and to verify the address and apartment we had signed an agreement to move in to. We were supposed to be getting a second floor apartment was are agreed upon apartment). When they gave us are address and apartment number we were surprised to hear that we had been moved to a third floor apartment in another part of the complex. They had moved us without even calling and letting us know that our agreed upon apartment had been rented, just moved us and though we wouldn't know. They eventually admitted that they had rented out our agreed upon apartment a couple of days before we signed our agreement. This may seem like just one little occurance that could be fixed easily, which is what we thought after they had found us another suitable apartment which we agreed on once again. About 3 days before we moved in they needed some additional papers to finish our credit approval. So I'm guessing they could have told us 3 days before we moved that are credit wasn't good enough. They still had us listed at the third floor apartment we never wanted in the first place (3 DAYS Before we move in). Well now are second agreed upon apartment was rented out as well. Obviously no one in the office knows how to keep records. Eventually we complained enough that they gave us our apartment we wanted.

Month 1: Sign was placed on garage stating that my belongings would be thrown away if they didn't hear from me within 3 days. I called and what do you know they had no record of me paying (which I did) or telling them that I had a garage. Nevermind that I got the key from one of their little whores that show apartments and she must have forgot to make a note that we had a garage. This problem was fixed pretty quickly as they stated that the sign was put on my garage accidentally.

Month 2: Received a note stating they were doing a cable audit and we had not been paying for it, which we had. We called and as they proceeded to be-little us saying we hadn't paid for it they finally called us back stating that they had made a mistake and we were ok. 2 Days later our cable was shut-off. We called Time Warner and tried to find out if we could get cable through them and not The Lodge but they said The Lodge was in charge of Basic Cable. We have some extras (DVR and RoadRunner) through Time Warner but not Basic Cable. We called once again and like always everyone in the office is covering each others asses. They claimed that we would have to wait till the morning for our cable to be turned back on. The Maintence Guy was already off of work 5 hours before the office closed, and he was that only one with the power to turn it on!

Month 3: Our ceiling fan that was broken along with a sliding glass door was finally fixed after our 3rd written request and numerous phone calls. Well partially fixed, the fan is working now but they took our screen door from the porch and said they would try to get us a new one. We'll see about this one, it has only been a week but chances our we will never see our screen door again.

In closing we have only lived here since August and have been through 3 months of complete hell. It may be a coincidence but 5 out of the 12 people in our building have moved out in the past 2 months. I belive it is more than that. I'm sorry about the long post and I have barely even touched the surface of our bad experience. The pool was closed all summer, we never recieved a $25 gas card we spun a wheel for when we signed a lease, the front and back doors don't close, the back door is falling off the hinge, the deck has nails sticking out everywhere and much, much more!

In my opinion this is the most poorly run business in the city if not the state! I would rather go homeless than ever sign another lease here again.

I'm a Lodge employee. I can understand that these individuals are upset about their apartment and their experience. We have attempted to resolve their problems in a timely and efficient manner. I'm sorry that they don't feel like they were getting the attention deserved. Again, I'm sorry that they feel like we have treated them poorly. In our defense, I do find it appalling that these tenants have the audacity to call our staff whores when they have no idea what kind of people we actually are. We are attempting to do our jobs and personal attacks are not needed.

This is a Lodge employee, member of the maintenance team. In the defense of the Lodge and all of the respectable employees whom you are attacking unfairly and unknowingly, I have to tell you every department personnel is seeking the necessary avenues to take care of our residents, as if it were our own place of residency. We are sorry for the inconviences, however some things are infact pending and WILL be taken care of as your lighting fixture was. Although new to the team, I have been associated with this complex for a couple years and now proud to be a direct part of this maintenance crew and this will make a difference, including your screen door request. Thank you, and on behalf of the maintenance team I hope this helps resolve your animosity and makes your living better at The Lodge in the future.

I am a past resident at the lodge apartments, and I agree 100% with what the resident said. The Lodge apartments is a terriable place to live. After living there for eight terriable months, we are now living in a great place where there are no loud noises, not having to put up with calling the cops in the middle of the night, my husband can actually sleep and get to work on time, instead of being so tired from the hell of that night and trying to race to work. I myself, am so happy now! I would tell anyone and everyone I dont know, Never to even attempt to look into living at the lodge apartments. Several people in are apartment complex also moved out while we were there. The lodge management can be rude so much of the time. When problems come about, they dont bother to fix them, they take their precious time and just let it go. I would rather have Amberwood Apartments back. The lodge just rips people off. Everyone please use your mind wisely and dont go to the lodge!
