I have lived at the Lodge for approximately 9 months, and at first, I was impressed with the office staff, the apartments, and the fact that I was able to have my dogs.
However, now that I have lived here a while, I have found that the office staff doesn't care about complaints and does nothing to solve them. There is dog poo all over the grounds...while I pick up after my dogs, apparently the office doesn't feel the need to either punish the persons who do not or feel the need to pick it up themselves. My building's floors in the hallway and stairwells have never been scrubbed in the 9 months I've lived there. The pool took FOREVER to be opened, and there was no response from the office when I complained of unsupervised children and non-residents using the pool. We have had numerous complaints about our upstairs neighbors being extremely loud and obnoxious at all hours, and the office apparently has done nothing as the problems persist. We have also complained numerous times about illegal parking in our lots and others--again, nothing done. It snowed right around New Years, and our sidewalks were NEVER cleared. Our lot was poorly cleared, and ice persisted until it warmed enough to melt it. Think of driving on an ice rink, and that's what our lot was like.
My advice is not to move here unless you appreciate having your concerns ignored and dismissed.

Yeah, I'm moving in just under a week...this place is a disaster. If you enjoy incompetency and complete lack of concern in an apartment complex, go ahead and move here. Otherwise, if you want a well maintained, well managed complex, look elsewhere. This place is full of people that don't work (I'm guessing welfare/section 8/drug dealers) and that includes the staff AND the tenants.

I totally agree with you on everything! When anyone asks me where there is a good place to live, I tell them DONT GO TO THE LODGE! It was a living nightmare! But one thing I recommend doing if the staff dont want to help with the noice, call the cops! We did and the people above us got a ticket! It helped alittle, but hey at least it got something across to them!
