I've lived here since January. There is NEVER parking at any hours, the hallways have never been cleaned, the pools that were supposed to be open by memorial day don't even have water in them, we are constantly getting hit with $200 fees for no reason and when you try to talk to the staff, they give you blank stares or say there's nothing they can do, that is, if you can catch them before they duck out early for the day, which they do, EVERY SINGLE DAY. I supposedly live in the "ritz" part of the complex... over by Sonic on 48th ,and the lawn is often shabby, there's dog poop galore, the neighbors are either having domestic disputes or throwing raging keggers til 4 in the morning! Not to mention, there is vandalism and theft, and a Camarro even had its wheels stolen one night while it was in the parking lot. I work at a bar downtown and when I get home at 2 am, I'm often terrified of the bushes growing onto the sidewalk, not to mention the people smoking in their cars at those hours staring at you... Its just god awful living in these apartments, and I CAN NOT WAIT TO MOVE OUT. Stay away, or you may be VERY, VERY SORRY!! I know I am.

God yes! I completely agree with you. My husband and I are moving because we allegedly have a "prohibited" breed (pit bull/black lab mix) yet there are plenty of other "prohibited" breeds roaming around the property as well as dogs that aren't on leashes. These people obviously cannot handle a complex this large, and they are lazy and don't give a ---- about their long term tenants. Instead, they would prefer the obnoxious college kids, section 8's, and other unseemly characters...in fact they seem to hire the nastiest of their residents to work for them. It might have a new name, but it sure never shook the stigma of being Amberwood. What a ---- hole!

We lived in the same area of where youre at! In the apartments on the left side behind sonics. It was the worst exerpience ever! They advertise as being a nice community to live in and it was the worst nightmare ever! My car was broken into and had my cd player stolen. our neighbors above us were throwing parties til 4am and their dogs were urinating off their deck onto our windows... and their dogs crap were being scooped off onto the ground next to our front livingroom windows, making it impossible to open any windows due to the smell and all the damn flies! But I took the ---- and put it in a grocery sack and took it into the damn office! after calling numberous times about this and them not doing a damn thing because all they wanted from the people above was their damn rent... I took the ---- in myself! I said...."Here, you can have their ---- from their dogs". We called corporate offices and got out of there! We lived there for 8 months and got out of our 1 yr lease. We didnt have to pay any fines or fees for getting out of the lease and I wasnt going to in the first place! Take all the pics you can get of the place! That will back you up! We did and sent them to the offices and they let us out due to providing evidence of how bad it really was!
