I've lived here for a year and a half and I am ready to get out of here! I don't know how I've stayed so long. This morning a cop knocked on our door to say that my roommate's car window had been broken and her GPS was stolen, the ONE NIGHT she forgot to bring it inside. The hoodlums that live around here must go around searching for things to steal every night. The hallways haven't been cleaned ONCE since I moved in. One time a drunk guy threw up on the stairs and it stayed there for a couple days before I had to call someone in the office to clean it up. Even then they only cleaned up the puke, not the dirty nasty grime and hair that has been piling up for months on the floors. Maintenance is incompetent, the staff is rude and worthless, and love to charge you for any little thing. We've had many different neighbors live above us who just use it as a party hangout and have underage drinking parties with loud music and dozens of people, the whole building was shaking from them dancing around. When we moved in, the carpet was disgusting and wasn't even vacuumed, much less the obvious and gross stains removed. The dishwasher didn't work, and the heater was leaking and left of pool on our floor. It took seven calls and seven times of them coming over and leaving notes that they couldn't find anything wrong with our dishwasher before they finally fixed it. One summer they just let the grass grow without cutting it for weeks and weeks, and it grew to the point where i couldn't see my dog when she walked in it. It was almost up to my knees. When anyone complained, management said they didn't have the money to pay the grass-cutters. OMG! Really' We pay a fortune for this hellhole and they can't afford to cut the grass' The outside safety lights and hall lights are burnt out and noone replaces them. The roads in the complex have potholes all over the place that can really mess up your car. There's one that is about the size of a giant hot tub and is always filled with water so it must be pretty deep. I'd hate to see what would happen if someone wasn't paying attention and drove into it. You have to pay for water and electric and cable and pet rent on top of the already overpriced rent. Please, heed my words and everyone else's that have left reviews, steer clear of this place!!!

If you want to live in a "grown-ups" apartment complex, come over to 56th Street Lofts and Apartments just down the road....The property manager, Sara, is a godsend compared to the low lifes at the Lodge...trust me, you'll be much happier here! The number is 402-423-7998.

Funny, I moved in here a year ago and the new management is wonderful. They have cleaned this place up! The rent is comparable to other places and I love my apartment. They cut the grass every week and the do to have someone who cleans the hallways, mine gets cleaned once a week. But sometimes people just need to complain.
