Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I thot that Old Cheney Place Apts. where nice at first. They helped us out when needing to change our apt. when we first moved there they were in the midst of changing the managment. and when they did everything went to hell. The new office staff, (manager mostly) was too busy dating the people who lived there too be concerned about her job as a manager. They made us PAY TO MOVE OUT! We had damage to our carpet, that was there when we moved in, and they said that they would replace the carpet which they never did. so when our lease was up, we lost our deposit. We got a notice almost every month saying that our rent was wrong. that we were to be paying 595 instead of 585. on our lease, it stated how much our rent was, 585......they told me that it was wrong and we needed to be paying more. they threatened to have us kicked out if we didnt pay the difference......not a good place at all!
