Overall, I feel that Old Cheney Place was a good choice for me. The maintanence man is very prompt..like when the front door lock was broken, or when my lock broke. He was there in 10 minutes! My only problem is the noise from other tenants. When I first moved in, the person above my apartment (i live on the second floor) was very, VERY loud! I complained to the office, they said that the tenant was moving and should be done soon. Okay, so I tolerated the noise. I've been living here for almost 9 months and no one has occupied the apartment above me. Now someone has moved in and it is very noisy. It makes me wonder what I sound like to the woman below me! My only other problem would be the laundry card machine. It seems like when I really need to put $$ on my card, the machine is broken...great.... All in all, I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for cheap rent in a nice part of town!
