Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
I lived at Park Ridge for two years, and loved my apartment.
The rooms are good sized, and the appliances are wonderful.
It does have the college atmosphere however, which is a big setback for such nice apartments.
Our apartment smelled of smoke all the time, because they let people smoke in a building with a shared ventilation system (really stupid).
People come home drunk and loud on the weekends.
HIP Realty is very unorganized and most of the employees are rude and unhelpful.
They will try to sucker as much money out of you as possible.
They will charge you for things that should have been taken care of months ago.
My car was broken into once, and HIP did nothing about it.
Also, I question them allowing people to smoke in the building, yet not allowing pets.
Smoking is much worse for the commmunity.
I really loved my apartment, but did not enjoy the neighbors or the community.
By the way, I'm a college student, and not all college students are partiers.
I like a nice and quiet area, so why am I forced to live with the loud noisy frat heads and sorostitutes?
