John Hintz is a wonderful guy! I had a problem with my furnace not working properly on Sunday night (Jan 4, 2010) and he came out at 9:30 PM and had not one complaint!! He was not able to fix our problem at that moment, so, he offered to bring us a space heater so that we did not have to go without heat for that night.
We already had one, so, we declined, but, he had GENUINE care and concern for us and that is really awesome!! He had an electrician there at 8:00 in the morning and got our furnace working in no time!! Thanks to John and the Ruskin Place staff for helping to make my home so nice!! There are alot of residents that live here and you can't make everyone happy, but, you sure do make me happy here!!

hmmm. let me guess -------... you smoke your weight in Marlboro lights in a weekend. You do not have a full set of teeth. You have a huge dog that you dress like a baby & thinks everyone loves it. You are quite at home in a sub level apartment scenario because you are "in between" jobs or you or your husband are collecting disability.

My offer to trade apartments still stands. If you were so proud and confident of Ruskin Place, you'd be happy to change my opinion. The staff is rude and condescending, even when I have always been polite (the more flies with honey theory). It is loud in the apartments. More often than not, people do not clean up after their pets. I will be writing a thorough review based on my experience. It saddens me that while the majority of reviews here are not in favor of RP, it seems shamelessly glowing reviews that are far and fair between overshadow a large truth about this complex.

Actually, I am moving to a bigger apartment this week-at Ruskin Place, so, the 1 bedroom that I am in now is going to be available soon. Why would I change your mind? You have your opinions. I just don't like to be lumped into the opinion that "everyone" at Ruskin is a drunk, smokes, has a dog that they don't clean up with or are loud. I am a respectful neighbor and where I am at, so are the others.
