Loved It!

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I lived in a 2-bed 2-bath apartment for 2 years with another roommate, and we both really liked the complex. The carpet and the cabinets were a bit on the cheap side, but they definitely were not deal breakers. Our living room was more than big enough (we fit a coach, futon, coffee table, side table, small bookshelf, and tv stand with room to spare), but the kitchen was a little small. We also had tons of storage room--the storage closet was HUGE, plus there were 2 other coat closets in the hallway. Maintenance always responded within 36 hours to whatever minor problems we did have. The staff was always friendly, and Nikki (in the office) always remembered our names and apartment number. The landscaping always looked great, and I had a beautiful tree right outside my bedroom window that turned a gorgeous shade of red in the fall. The pool was always clean and was actually pretty deep for an apartment pool--it went down to 8 feet, I believe.
We lived on the third (top) floor, and could sometimes hear the neighbors below us when they had parties. It never got to the point that we needed to complain about it, though. Probably the worst aspect of living there was that it was in an Alltel dead zone, so cell phone reception was extremely spotty. That was completely out of the landlord's control, however. When we moved in, rent was $600/month, and it moved up to $620/month after we signed our second year-long lease. It was still very affordable for two college students who worked part-time.
All in all, I miss living there and would recommend it to anyone.
