My roommate and I moved in 3 years ago and didn't leave because we didn't want to have to move all of our stuff. We started at a reasonable rent, but each year they try to increase it an extra $40 a month. They said it was because they were near full, but our building is nearly empty. The management only take and never give when I have problems. It is always my fault or a neighbor. In one instance a manager even lied to me out right to avoid righting a wrong. I refuse to talk to them anymore after two months of yelling at them. If you try to get out of a lease (even if your entire living room ceiling fell on all of your property as has happened) they will not let you move and they will not pay to move you to another apartment in the building.
