I am going to be as biased as possible in writing this. I will be as fair as possible.

...Moving along...

We moved into The Apartment because we thought we were getting an excellent deal, they seemed pet-friendly, and the apartments are very spacious.

We moved in and things changed pretty quickly. They were in between managers when we moved in. We were not told that. They switched managers 2 times and it was very confusing.

The quality of the apartment is almost nasty. The walls were VERY poorly painted. They obviously didn't tape or remove fixtures as there are dirty brown rings around all the light fixtures. The bathroom floors are gross. The oldest, dirtiest tile I've ever seen. We've tried cleaning it, believe me.

Right when we moved in, our fridge broke spoiling almost 200 dollars worth of food. We considered that an emergency. The maintenance people did not.

The carpet is dirty and stained. The windows are very old and don't open and shut very well. There are these little nasty bugs called 'silverfish' all over the place. Toilets and sinks back up regularly.

It was the BIGGEST pain moving in. The staircases are kind of narrow and windy. Very hard to move things in, especially couches, dressers, entertainment centers.

We had thought the office staff seemed organized and friendly. No. Absolutely not. They treat their tennants like the dog poop that's all over the grounds.

Parking is okay. There's certainly enough, but there is almost no lighting and the shrubs are overgrown and provide ample hiding spaces for someone who would want to attack someone, or steal a car. The neighborhood is OKAY at best. If you like listening to the police helicopters every night, then you'll LOVE it.

Overall, I don't recommend this place. We are highly disappointed in it. It's okay, but there are a lot better in Omaha. I will say the apartments are big, you get a gas grill, and they pay your gas heat, and there is a lot of closet space, but that's it.

GLAD to be out of there.
