I live with huskergirl currently. Let me get out my scroll of things that I HATE about this place. We moved in back in the spring. It was a spur of the moment thing. We drove out to the complex and looked at their 3rd floor 2 bdrm apts. The master bedroom had a ceiling fan, but the other bedroom did not. We asked management if they could put one in, and they said it would be no problem. It's still not there. Oh well, we decided that we liked them, so we began to do the credit checks. We were approved, so it was only a week after we looked at these apartments that we moved in. Monday, we signed our paperwork in the morning, and they gave us the key, so we went up to the apartment to plug a phone in. They told us that someone would be in to finish cleaning by the time we were off of work and moving in. At 5:00 are apartment was still messy, so we cleaned it up a bit and hauled all of our earthly possessions into our apartment. First problem--we had an ant problem. We immediately called the office and they said they'd send an exterminator. Still waiting. Then we did the move in check of the place. We discovered a small hole in our screen door to the balcony. No big deal, but we still wanted it fixed. They came to claim it 3 days after we moved in, and they JUST RETURNED IT IN NOVEMBER (6 months and 3 phone calls later). Since we've moved in, we've discovered a few things. There is enough hot water in that apartment to make Macaroni and Cheese and that's about it. It makes getting ready in the morning very difficult when only one of us can take a hot shower and the other has to wait a couple of hours for hot water(and you can forget about doing laundry or the dishes). The door to the closet where our washer and dryer are located has come down, we have light fixtures that only work when they want to, the drains in the bathrooms are horrible--I've had someone from maintenance come look at them TWICE because we were taking COLD showers calf deep in water. They've worked on them for about 10 minutes and said "well this is as good as they're going to get", but when I go to the store and get some Drano, it works better than anything maintenance did. There is a huge stain in the carpet at the top of our stairs that isn't our fault. The place is pretty small for the amount we're paying. They advertise $680 for 2 bdrm, but I know they're leasing for $600 right now. Very little storage space. Poorly lit parking lot. At least now I know what to look for at my next apartment. I haven't referred ANYONE to this hellhole, nor will I ever.
