The landscaping is beautiful, the clubhouse is also beautiful and is open late - indoor pool, pool tables, staff is available to talk with. Apple Creek allows dogs, no weight limit. I think there is a limit of 2 pets per apartment. Lots of people have dogs here - occasionally there is a problem with pet droppings on the grounds, but it is getting better. They provide bags for picking up after your pet. I walk my dog late at night/early morning when i get off work and always feel safe - the trails around the complex are well-lit. This is a very safe area to live. However, these are old buildings so the apartments are drafty, and the a/c and heatings units are old. So be prepared to pay more for heating and cooling bills. The monthly rent is higher than I'd like to pay - increases every year you re-sign the lease. But there is no monthly pet rent. Just a one time non-refundable deposit per pet at move-in. I think it's $250 per pet.
So over-all I would recommend this apartment complex. If you're looking for a safe place to live that allows dogs, this is a good choice.
