I moved into Apple Creek over 2 1/2 years ago and originally loved it. I first moved into a 2 bedroom on the second floor with a roommate from June 07 until June 08. I then decided to rent month-to-month until I could financially figure out what I wanted to do; either stay at Apple Creek or move out since I got rid of the roommate. When I chose to do month-to-month rent they totally just made up a price to charge me. I went from paying $688.00 a month (and that included a summer special they had going on) for my 12 month lease to paying $750.00 for the same apartment which was a 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment only 8 hundred something square foot. My neighbor above me worked out of town all the time so he was only home about a week out of the month which was GREAT because when he was home the creaks in the floor were ear piercing when he walked around. Another horrible issue I had when I lived in my two bedroom was when it rained the sidewalks would flood over and I had walk through a mud bath early in the morning on the way to my car dressed in my very nice work clothes. In September of 2008 I decided to downsize to a one bedroom across the street and sign a 6 month lease. When I moved they made me pay a $75.00 dollar cleaning fee to have my old apartment cleaned, even though in the lease agreement it said once you move out you do not have to pay for cleaning fee s, that is coved by the apartment complex, and trust me, I am a neat freak so my apartment wasn t even dirty just another way for them to get money out of you. So the first 3 months were great in the one bedroom, I met my new neighbor s liked them all EXCEPT for the neighbors directly above me!!! As of today, I only have 2 more months left in Apple Creek until my rent is up and I AM MOVING OUT OF THERE! I have made 8 official noise complaints against my neighbors above me and they STILL are living there!! Over the last 2 month period I and the neighbors around me have complained on the certain neighbors regarding the following; screaming at the top of their lungs telling each other they are going to kill each other, blaring loud music, being woken up out of the dead of my sleep from their headboard slamming against the wall when they have sex, their dog barking all hours of the day and night, their FAT inconsiderate lazy asses rolling and pounding all over the floor while playing with their dog. Any you what to know what I got in return from the management for having to deal with this they put the loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate neighbors on a 14 day probation period!! Didn t even evict them!! The building management sucks!! I almost called my attorney to have him contact apple creek and demand a free months rent for losing sleep, and increased stress level, and having to live under inconsiderate neighbors who don t even realize how LOUD they are!!! All the management wants to do is drain as much money out of you as possibly can while you live there. I have to make 3 maintenance calls for them to FINALLY come and fix me dishwasher they spewed water all over my kitchen every time I ran it. I could go on and on! I just want to make it apparent that they don t give two craps about your living situation, all they want is to gossip about you and your $$$money$$$. If you took time to read this today I appreciate it. I don t normally spend time writing about this stuff but I think it is apparent for everyone out there that is looking at Apple Creek as your next residence to NOT DO IT! I am a big believer that word spreads and I hope you all pass this negative message on about Apple Creek! Have a wonderful day!
