We have lived here for just about 2 years and I cant not wait to get out of this hole of a place they call an apt. The management absolutly is the worst they cna be, along with the maintnance! Nothing gets fixed right, they rig everything so it works half assed. If you call and make a complaint about anything going on in your building, the managers blow you off, they simply DO NOT care! Not to mention the excessive amount of crime, there are Omaha Police in the complex I swear once a day, and there are a high number of meth labs that get busted , but it doesnt stop anyone from doing it, cause management doesnt kick anyone out, the people usually get out of jail and come right back and start up again! There is a lot of crime in the entire 96th and Q street area, but most of it focuses on this apt. complex!
The apartment we live in isnt that bad.... it could be nicer for the money we pay, but we have learned to live with it. We did hear that the previous management before refused to replace any carpeting in the apts,. they die it and make it look clean, but you will see the damage done to it when you try to shampoo it yourself, all the old dirt bleads right back through, its very disgusting...... It seems like all the decent people that did live here are gone or are moving out now as we speak. There is a lot of section 8 and careless people moving in, and pretty soon it will be like you like on 20th and Lake street!

you must not have ever lived in north omaha. welcome to the real world, doing drugs, drinking, etc... has nothing to do with one being or not being on government assistance. society tries to focus the blame on one particular group(usually people of color) to get the focus off what is really going on. people are on meth, crack, stealing, domestics, and live in freaking Regency, Linden Estates,Happy Hollow. it just looks better because they live in a half million dollar, and drive a $80,000 car. So what is the real issue here? Oh and just to let you know 20th and lake is purely non-existent. Obviously you have no idea what the heck you are talking about it would be different if you said 16th. Don't ever judge anyone by someone else's mishaps. out
