You can do better...

When we first moved in, we overlooked a nice pond. The pond has since then been let go and it overrun with weeds and stagnant water as the pump keeps breaking down. The pigeons are horrible and my balcony is constantly covered with bird crap. Also, when I moved it I was told I would be able to put up a DirecTV dish to receive digital TV. When I went to have it installed last summer, they told me I could not have one. Upon further argument with the extremely rude Cormac leasing company, I decided not to pursue it any longer and move out. This restriction they have on dishes actually violates FCC statute granting apartment dwellers rights to install a dish on their private balcony. But it wasn't worth the effort to take them to court, there were enough other reasons to move out. Our neighbors were also really sloppy and we constantly were dealing with nasty substances drippped down the stairs and in the entryways to the buildings. Also, our "secured entry" gate broke last fall and was not fixed for over 4 months. Anyone had access to our building during that time. The only positive was that maintenance was very friendly and responded quick. They also did a good job fixing things if the went wrong. Overall the staff was friendly, but there were some individuals that did not treat us very respectfully. I hope my new place is better than Autumn Grove - at least I know they allow DirecTV!!!
