I lived in this complex for 3 years. The apartments themselves are beautiful and moderately maintained. Parking is terrible and little is done about people who have cars that simply sit. The girls in the front office look pretty and that's about it. They spend quite a bit of time gossiping about tenants or put up a sign that says they'll be back while out running errands. I had a 12lb. dog, put down a non-refundable pet deposit and paid pet rent MONTHLY. When I left I had the carpets immaculate! In fact the gossip queen that did my final walk through commented how good they looked for living there 3 years yet, I was charged and extra $50 dollars for "turbo cleaning" the carpets. Funny, everyone I've talked to who has a pet was charged the same thing - regardless of the condition of the carpets or the length of their stay. When I mentioned this should be covered in my nonrefundable pet fee and with my monthly pet rent I was told that this is was what I had to pay just to have the privilege of having a pet in my apartment. What a load of crap! Oh, and they don't follow the majority of the lease, I was even told that they weren't sure why some of that was in there because that's not what they do. Isn't a lease a legal document' Evidently not to them! I should have walked out on my lease and let them come after me legally, hard to believe that the lease I signed would hold up in court. If you can, pick somewhere else to live.
