I've lived in several apartments, and of all of them, the management at Avalon Hills is the WORST! I've lived here for several months and am sadly disappointed. Nothing ever gets fixed in a timely manner, IF at all. Of several things, I've complained about the light on the front of our building not working several times, and it's STILL not working (I gave up). We recently had to sign a new lease and without any warning, they raised our rent and seemed really shady in the way they went about it. The buildings are poorly built - I can feel my neighbors walking across the floor (and they are by no means overweight) and constantly hear loud music/kids running everywhere. And now that snow season is here I've learned how poorly they plow. I wish I had stayed at my old apartment...

It's not that BAD, they are doing their BEST. I'm a tenant since August 07, and I love it. I can really complaint. You should contact the management sometimes (i'm sure you already done that probabilly several times). I'm sure they will be more than happy to take your suggestions.

I did contact them, especially about noise issues. They didn't care. They pretty much told me that one tenant (of the two horribly loud neighbors I had) was a couple of punk kids that they couldn't do anything about. What kind of management is that???? I contacted them several times when I first moved in about how dark it was in the front of my building (the lights didn't work)... And these lights still weren't fixed by the time I moved out a year later. I don't believe for a second they were trying their best and they didn't take any of my suggestions. They did however seem very interested in keeping my money. When I gave them my notice they tried to keep me by dropping the rent quite a bit.. they obviously know how hard it must be to rent that kind of place. (If you haven't noticed, I feel VERY strongly about this apartment complex.)
