I have lived at Avalon Hills for several years and have seen many managers and staff members come and go with the exception of maintanence's Eric and Mai. This team is definitely the best yet. They have always been friendly and responsive to our needs. Repairs are done usually within 1 day of calling. They have worked hard to revitalize the community and they don't steal! Something which can not be said for past managers and staff members and their friends. There is still much to be done around the complex but it is a large property with a small staff. And yes, the pool situation this summer was totally unacceptable and showed poor planning! Still, I think some of the negative comments are from inexperienced renters with unrealistic expectations and wjo perhaps, do not communicate effectively when they need something. You catch more flies with honey! If you are polite and reasonable, then so is the staff. I have been in the office when people are making complaints and although their complaint is valid, the way they are speaking to the staff is unbelievable! How you would expect anyone to provide service when you are abusive and rude from the startis beyond me. This is a community so if there is a problem, we all need to solve it. If neighbors are loud, speak to them first. If there is trash blowing about, pick it up! Don't be so entitled and above caring for your own space!

Must be another employee trying to boost ratings. The manager is one of the worst aspects of this property. They are rude, vicious, women working in the office as it does not take much to set them off.

I am not an employee. I have been through several managers here and this team is the best so far. They have never been anything but responsive and polite to me and my family. I don't know the nature of your problem with them but perhaps you should try a different approach to get a better response. Sounds like your first apartment? Yes there is still much to be done, grounds need improvement but I was here when trash bills weren't paid and water was turned off so it has really improved. There are no loud parking lot parties and crack addicts anymore.
