I lived at Benz Place for a little over a year and I can't believe how I was treated by the management. The management always treated me like I was a hassle anytime I had a problem and the main complex manager was always very pushy and threatening in a passive sort of way.

I was on the 3rd floor and the entire building shakes when someone walks up the stairs. The air flow through out the apartment was horrible, practically no circulation so in the winter it was freezing and in the summer it was hotter then hell. Expect a huge electric bill. My car was vandalized twice during my time there.

Another negative is the fact that Benz Place only offers Qwest television and cable internet services so you can't get all of the channels you'd like with out going to dish TV. And there are two TV outlets in each room so you never know which one to use. Don't plan on asking the management for help with your outlet, they'll tell you to call Qwest who will give you about the same amount of help.

When giving my 30 day notice to move out I was given a very cold shoulder by the complex manager and when it was all said and done it took over 90 days to get my deposit back. I left the apartment cleaner then when I moved in and they literally took more then half of my deposit for very odd and greatly overpriced fixes. Stove cover replacements do not cost $9 / piece, more like $3.99 for all 4.

Renter beware before moving into Benz Place. The shopping centers are nice since they're so close but they're not worth the hassle and personal treatment provided by the Benz Place management.
