I've lived at Briarwood for about 3 1/2 yrs. There have been a few problems, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. First, the bad...My car got broken into twice. The first time they stole a whole bunch of stuff, including my stereo, CD's, coat, tennis racket, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I honestly shouldn't have even had in there. The second time, I wised up and didn't have anything of value, but someone rummaged through it anyway (nothing taken though). Unfortunately, that is apartment living, so if that's a concern, get a garage. Now the good...The maintenance here is exceptional. I have thought about moving since I work downtown, but haven't in fear of going to another apartment and having to deal with nightmare maintenance. When my fridge broke one summer day, I called the office and they brought up a new fridge within 15 minutes of me calling! Granted, it was a fridge from the empty apt. below me, but the office lady said if I didn't like it, they would buy me a new fridge. Any problems I have had have been fixed within the day I have called, and if it's been an emergency it's been dealt with within the hour. You really can't beat that...and you won't find it everywhere. I'd recommend Briarwood...but keep the valuables out of your car!
