The first year I lived here was okay. I had no problems until I signed a new lease this fall. Two weeks after I did that, new neighbors moved above me. I hear everything my above neighbors do, from walking, running, talking, laughing, tv and the radio, showering and opening/closing kitchen cabinets and doors. I highly recommend not moving in. The walls seem very thin and not well insulated. Last night I was awake until 2:30am because I heard my neighbors laughing and talking in the apt and on the balcony. I told management and their response is, "that is just apt living. You'll hear people talk." I responded, "yes however I hear them 10pm - 3am almost every night." She responded, "well, you will hear your neighbors talk." So pretty much she said to just deal with it. I am also recovering from surgery and management knows this yet they do nothing much to keep them quite. They have called them yet management will not evict the neighbors. I said well how about I move to a 3rd floor therefore I will have no neighbors above me. The said well you will have to forfeit current deposit on your apt and pay a new deposit on the new apt. I said well with my situation I should not be required to pay the new deposit because I am a very unhappy customer. FYI, I have tried multiple things to ignore my neighbors such as having the tv and fan on, using ear plus, covering both ears with pillows, coving my entire self with the comforter, and going to bed early so hopefully I would sleep through them but I awalys end up waking up because of them. Overall, please do not live here. I have more headaches and I am in more pain overall because I do not get a sufficient amount of sleep. Also the door to your apt, you can hear the doors slam all day. I wish I could have 1 week of peace. NOISE IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM!!! AND MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE!!

There's a lot of college kids that live here, and many parties on the weekend, request a 'quiet building' and management will accommodate. They did awesome for me as I don't like noise and parties either and I live with people who are either: work-a-holics (like myself) or over 60yrs old. Neither of which are loud.

Management does care and takethe issues of peaceful occupancy verys eriously. Quiet should prevail at all times but especially between the 10pm to 8 am hours. Any level of noise which disturbes a resident is addressed in writing to arrive at a solution. All apt homes need to be quiet, not just some. Nancy, Cambridge Manager
