I lived in a one-bedroom apartment at the Tadousac for two years. I've had apartments all over the city, from my poor college days to the much nicer complexes once I got my good corporate job.
Overall, my Tadousac experience was very good. I loved the apartment's character - nice, open layout, decent closet space, cute bathroom. Loved the French paned patio doors in the main room, the pretty hardwood floors, and the spacious eat-in kitchen.
Management was somewhat rude, and very nosy (see complaint below). I seldom had to call for maintenance, but when I did, I got immediate and friendly response. Parking spots are assigned. I didn't have any theft problems, but I did often see homeless people picking through the dumpsters - they seemed to keep to themselves.
My complaints included:
-The loud noises made by the old water furnaces (very loud clanking all night), which created extreme heat during the winter that I couldn't seem to adjust whatsoever.
-Management came into my apartment several times without informing me ahead of time or leaving any kind of note. Very nosy. Which is why I got kicked out, because they found out about my cat (after 1 1/2 years with no problems). So definitely not pet friendly. But I knew it was their policy and I did break it, so I can understand that.
-Only one assigned spot and no parking for your guests.
Overall, if you don't have pets and don't need a ton of room, I would recommend the Tadousac complex.
