I have lived at Fox Valley under a year and it has been an awful experience. I've lived in five other apartment communities in the Omaha area and this one, by far, is the worst. The grounds are not well-kept, they have only plowed the lot once this winter and it is still snowpacked. The sidewalks have been icy and I've fallen more than once, and have seen other tenants fall as well. A light layer of salt would prevent this, but the managers are not interested in making this a nice, safe place to live. Why would they care' None of them live on the property. The worst part of all of this is the noise and disturbance problems. This goes on in the parking lots and in the buildings. The construction is so shoddy, you can hear someone sneeze in the next unit. The police come out to the complex several times a week, usually late at night, but the problems continue because management isn't interested in a resolution. People have damaged cars, urinated in the parking lot, sprayed beer in the hallways, and children pass the time by playing in the dumpster. Fortunately, my little nightmare is almost over, and my lease will be up soon. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB once I'm out. Unless you enjoy the show "Cops" enough to watch it outside your window every night, steer clear of this one!
