These apartments are the nastiest, scum loathing, drug ridden worst apartments you could ever imagine! The maintence is a joke rigging stuff just long enough to get by.The so called manager needs a lesson on respecting her tenants. After all they are her customers. She acts like you should be lucky to even live there. Please its a complete dump unless i guess you dont mind trash everywhere but the dumpsters, doors slamming all night, drug deals in the parking lots and oh people getting shot and killed in the complex. If those things appeal to you then you should consider moving in there otherwise I would get as far away from there as possible.

I am so sad to hear that these apartments have deteriorated as much as these reviews imply. I lived at Laruelwood from January 1988 to September 1989 when I left to come back home and it was one of the nicest apartments I have ever had. The apartment felt more like a home than an apartment, the grounds were clean, the office staff was wonderful and if you needed anything repaired all you had to do was call and maintenance was right there. Everything was open, everything worked??? I'm so sorry you didn???t have the opportunity to experience the property when it was a good place to live.

I've lived here almost 4 years. The new manager Dawn could care less of the criminals she lets into the complex. Since she took over the place went down hill and has become a disaster. She is rude and should be replace. And the so called security is a joke, with car break ins and they seem to be enable to stop the problems in the parking lots and even with noise control in the buildings. The only one in management that cares is Amy, that tries to take care of the complaints of the criminal activity, noise, and unruly tenants, that Dawn seems to think have more rights than others. The maintenance guys are great with what they have to work with. This complex is Section 8, so beware. I will be moving out when my lease is up like many others are doing already if the Owners of Grandridge Apts. do not step in and take action of the shoddy management and Section 8 criminal activity.

I moved into GrandRidge sight-unseen when I moved here with my fiance and 1 year old daughter... if I had known what I know NOW, there is NO WAY I would have ever chosen GrandRidge as my home for my family. There is no feeling of safety, the sense that you are being taken seriously when there is a problem. I agree, Amy is the only one in the office that cares about the health and safety of her tenants. I just moved out and will recommend to anyone I know to stay AWAY from GrandRidge apts at all costs.

wow- any good stuff to say? i have lived at grandridge a short time. i enjoy the great club house with spectacular pool, tanning booths, gym, laundry mat and bbq area. the area is secured by a bright patrol unit. i know the owners of the patrol and know they do a good job. i want to commend grandridge on these things. Never look past the good to see only the bad. My bad is with the rude manager. She actually yelled at me for trying to clean up my muddy and flooding balcony. She is irritable from the get go and has got to put on her business hat and smile like shes paid to do. Otherwise, we like our new home. Even the appliances are great! My rate: out of 5 stars: i give it a 3.5.
