I also looked at this complex (apt and twnhse) and totally agree that they are run down dumps. Everything looked s-o-o-o ancient and decrepit and yes--they do smell funky. The grounds are really spooky looking and the office staff were impatient and uncommunicative.
Definitely pass on this!
