I also had my car vandalized ($800 damage/theft) and 2mos later, so did my roommate!
When I called the mgr, Dawn, she sarcastically reminded me that if I'd been that concerned when I moved in that I should have rented a garage. She denied there had been any other incidents (I assume she meant during our phone call)since I now find it is a common occurrence.
So basically it was all my fault because I didn't pay for a garage.
