If you move here to an apartment facing west, please know that the air conditioner on top of the Sheraton Hotel across the during the summer makes a lot of noise, almost like a jet idling on the runway. Also know this building is adjunct to the Fire Department so you'll hear every siren and dispatch.
Management is nosy, and always goes by the book. They are unsympathetic to anything in your personal life that may affect a late rent payment for example, or a personal situation which requires you to break a lease because your employer is transferring you out of town. I have heard the head of management yell at a renter in this situation. Management can put on a happy face, or they can give you a "why are you bothering me now'" face. They have an uppity "WE are NP DODGE!", but yelling at people is NOT professional. They go by the book, and really only care about your money. I would have the name and address of a landlord/tenant attorney at your disposal, to be safe. I am quite sincere about all I've said here.

I would have to agree about the management of the building. I lived there for about a year and they always find you an inconvenience to their day. I work regular business hours and days, so it is almost impossible to resign a lease unless you try to pull strings out of your day to be late for work. I'm sorry, but this is America, you can't miss a day of work. They aren't open saturdays or sundays which is a great day for me to be able to talk to them, but I work before they open and get off work after they leave for the day. They really should try to readjust their office hours to be more convenient for others that are interested or need to talk to a manager about an issue. For about 3 weeks a month before my lease was about to go up, there was NOBODY in the office at all so that I could speak with them. I called, left notes, and even tried to rush home to catch them about to leave. But everything was locked up tight and the lights were off by the time I got there. I wouldn't give this place a 3.0, I would give it a 2.0 just because the management for this location was very unsatisfactory.
