Where do I even begin' My boyfriend and I moved here almost a year ago. Our lease is up this month and I can't wait to get the hell outta here! When we initially looked at Lakeforest Townhomes we weren't moving for around three months so we viewed one that we couldn't get at the time just to see what the place was all about. Needless to say, the one they showed us was adorable. So we put an app in and waited and waited and waited....we kept bugging them to see the one we were going to move into. Then finally, the day before we were supposed to move they showed us the one they had open for ,us and it was the smaller model, we had specifically stressed that we wanted the larger model and that's not all! They wanted to charge us the same amount as the large model! I was so stressed and I felt so pressured I signed the lease but I went home crying because I hated it so much. So my boyfriend called and chewed them out and ended up finding out that they had a larger model opening in a few days, so luckily out apartments that we were in at the time allowed us to stay a few more days and we moved into the townhome where we are currently (without seeing it mind you.) So here's where the story really begins. When we moved in the place was not clean. There was cat hair everywhere and I am allergic so the first week was terrible! There was tape hanging from the ceilings and the worst part is when we went downstairs, it smelled like cat pee everywhere and their were yellow stains all over. I had to bug bomb the basement because there were roaches and other kinds of bugs everywhere and there still is. Everything is outdated and in the warmer months we had a lady bug infestation and they were literally in the light sockets.

Now I am sitting here with no airconditioning a tub that can't drain right and toilets that you can't throw more that two squares of toilet paper in without it overflowing.

So basically I can break it down for you:

My top 10 reason to not live at Lake Forest Townhomes:
1. The office is annoyingly far away and you get no amentities.
2. They will try to trick you into signing a lease for something you don't want.
3. It's outdated.
4. Bugs are everywhere.
5. It most likely smells.
6. The plumbing sucks
7. The water pressure sucks.
8. You don't get a garage and you have to park at the back of your townhome and sometimes people park in your reserved spot.
9. Sometimes it sounds like your neighbors are in your townhome running up and down the stairs.
10. Leaky windows that the wind howls through in the winter.

If you want to live somewhere good, go apply at Bristol Square. That is where we moved from and I still can't figure out why we moved out of there. Bristol Square is a great place to live.
