Lakeside Hills

My girlfriend and I have lived at Lakeside Hills for the better part of a year now and have been very happy with our experience. The unit has a very nice layout with a huge amount of storage space, and is in excellent condition. The advertisements for these apartments say that they have "gourmet" kitchens, and I don't think the person who wrote that knows what that word means, but it's a small complaint. Everything works fine.

The place is extremely quiet, so much so that I sometimes wonder if all of our neighbors have moved out, even though I know that the units around me are all occupied. The heated garage is absolutely wonderful, especially after having spent the last couple of winters parking outside. The office staff is unfailingly courteous, and the maintenance staff seems to be on top of things as well, though we've rarely had to call them for anything. The grounds are kept up very well, and unlike another reviewer who has posted here, I've never seen any problems with snow removal. The plaza has always been plowed by the time I leave for work, which is sometimes very early in the morning.

Overall, this is the best apartment I've lived in, and I've lived in a few. There are cheaper places to be found in Omaha, to be sure, but the price is worth it to me. Highly recommended.
