I recently moved from Latvian and had an okay stay there (initially). As other reviewers noted maintenance is very weak and something is consistently broken. The staff was usually cordial but when I brought up refunding my security deposit there was instant tension. A lot of, "well, uh, er, you see, etc" I knew at that instant my security deposit was gone...sure enough I got a statemet listing enough things to wipe out my deposit...coincidence' Not at all, in my opinion they knew they were going to keep that money before they even looked at the apartment; so did I.
