I have had nothing but bad experiences at Candletree from the moment I lived there. The day I moved in they did not have the apartment that I was supposed to move into ready so they put me in another one & charged me more rent. They told me I could come back a week later but I moved from out of state & had nowhere else to go. I have been fighting with them to replace my washing machine because it ruined many of my work clothes by leaving big rust spots and streaks. This has been going on for several months. They promised to replace it about a month ago but still has not been done. My apartment was broke into earlier this week and all they had to do was kick in the door because the locks we pathetic. The police had already called maintanence by the time I got there & no one from management has contacted me to find out if there was anything missing or if I am okay. The management is horrible & have no idea what is going on. I have asked to speak to the owners many times because I am tired of dealing with them but they will not give out the information. I have threatened to break my lease but they told me it would be a waste of my time. I too have a bug problem & I feel that my safety is a definite issue in this apartment. The replace the door after the break in but I am on the bottom floor & all the other apartments on my floor are empty. I have yet to talk to a tenant who is happy here at Candletree. I can't wait to get out!!!
