I am a current renter from Candletree. My lease will be up soon and I have only horror stories to give regarding my time here. We have lost many things due to water damage, and our constant requests to have things fixed have gone unanswered. We have pleaded with 'Angie Fritz', the Manager (if you could call her that) to fix these issues many times with no result. At the beginning of February there was a 2 inch water main that froze and broke flooding the bottom 4 apartments in our building, shich my family lives. There are some of us it took over 3 weeks to get new carpet and even some who still do not have carpet. No compensation has been given and some of us had to get a hotel and others just had to live in the MOLD enfested apartments because we don't have the money for either renters insurance or a hotel room. When we try to get these grevious situations rectified by the management, we are told that it is taking so long because WE as tennants, are not cooporating and moving our furniture so they can replace the carpet. Some of us are single mothers or have small children. Where are we going to sleep' Where are we going to go while they keep promising to put us into a new apartment and help us move our things and then never show up to help' We are currently getting ready to file against the complex as well as contact the health department in the morning. All of our children are sick, we're sick.. all because of the mold. They wont DO anything about and they keep giving us the run around.
