HORRIBLE-STAY AWAY

I have had nothing but one problem after another from this apartment complex. I live on the ground floor with my now 3 year old son. We have had constant problems with ant infestation, and little to no response from the management in regards to this. When I resigned my lease last year, I filled out maintenance repairs for a leaky shower in my bathroom in the hallway that was causing the drywall to become saturated. No, that problem has NEVER been addressed to this date and it is nearly one year later. I have turned this into the office staff and management, with no response. Currently I am having problems with the dishwasher/pipe leaking in my apartment that caused a large amount of water to drain onto my kitchen floor and the hallway/hall closet floor. This has been an issue for 2 weeks now, but keep in mind that I am told that the problem has been fixed. I still have a soap ring around the wet area on the hallway floor, no one has yet been there to clean the carpet. They didn't even wet vac the carpet because according to their high quality maintenance staff, "it is not wet enough to get any water out of." This was just last Thursday, and the carpet just finally completely dried on Sunday. So, you can imagine not only the musty smell, but also the mold that is probably growing under the carpet at this point in time. The office personnel is HORRIBLE. They are rude to you as the client and don't follow through on getting your maintenance repairs turned in. I could go on and on about the numerous problems that I have had since moving in, but you get the point with just the most recent of events. Management does not accept phone calls from you as a tenant during the day, but rather decides that she will return your phone calls at the end of the days on a priority basis. I ask, is this the appropriate way to run a business' And then one wonders why 3/4 of the complex is empty' No need for anyone to wonder, just read any one of the reviews, that tells it all. My advice, stay away, find somewhere else even if it is a little more money. Paying a little more for good service from the management, office personnel, maintenance, and owners will be worth it in the long run. TRUST ME!!!
