i lived at candletree for 7 years. when i first moved in it was great, however it was my first apartment with ammenities, so i guess anything would be great. hindsight is 20/20. anyways i was happy for awhile, until i discovered the water damage and mildew around the window seals, and a closet. At that point nothing was being done about it, so i decided to transfer to a bigger apartment. in that apartment things were good for about a year, so after i signed yet another years lease, there was a change in management, and staff. we received a perty invitation informing us that the manger was leaving after 15 years, attached to the invitation, was a letter informing us, PAYING RESIDENTS!! that we are to use one-ply toilet paper, no tampons, etc. Due to being short-staffed they felt they would charge resident to come out for a plumbing call, stating that each apartment had its own sewage system, and they could tell if it was your apartment. the letter came from the owner.. a woman- or at least looks like a woman. anyways that i could get over. not that the apartments were looking more and more empty, they would let anyone move here, just as long as you had a deposit check, and pen to sign your contract. candletree use to be a nice and safe place to live, But know i wouldn't live there, make sure to drive thru at night.
