Find somewhere else to live!!!

Everything is great until you sign the lease. The first incident that I had was with cable. As a resident there, you purchase basic cable through them. One day I came home from work and the cable was not working. Called the office--CLOSED!! Called the next morning. I was asked if I payed my rent. Yes, I did. On time as usual. This led me to believe that if you do not pay your rent they shut off your cable. She assured me that it would be back on the next day. Not the case. More calls to the office. Finally on the 4th day I have cable.
The apartments are very old and outdated. They really nail you for a 1 bdrm. $540
The floor in the bathroom leaks on the person below me.
Speaking of her!! She complained to the office at least once every two weeks that I was loud late at night. I never once had a party. I went to bed by 11:00 each night. Every time she called I would get a call from the office letting me know about the complaint. Also got a probation notice that if I did not contain the noise I would be evicted. They never once thought the noise could be coming from someone else. The people next to me partied all night and the cops were at that apartment door a number of times. Mostly for loud parties, but once because he beat the hell out of her. Honestly the cops were at my building once a month for something. Let's not forget about the meth lab in another building right when I moved in. Back to the noise complaints. It finally dawned on me one day, the only noise that I could be making is walking across the floor. There was one spot on the floor, which I had to go accross each time I went to the kitchen. The floor would creak so loudly. I feel for whoever is living there now.
The girls who work in the office are terrible. They do know nothing. I had turned in my notice to move out(when my lease was up). I got two calls on my machine asking me when I wanted to come in and renew my lease. Then when I had moved into my house and had been out of there for two months got a message at home telling me the new lease was ready all it needed was my signature. Yes, I remember the potholes. They raised cable rates saying that their prices went up. A call to Cox found that to not be the case. Slosburg is a disease. They also own the Biltmore and Vanderbilt. They too are terribly managed. Biltmore has rodent problems like you would not believe. Never rent from a Richdale Group(Slosburg) property. I wonder why they don't use the Slosburg name any more.
