I just moved from the Lionshead Apartments and never really had a problem until I moved out. Two weeks after I moved I received a bill for $300 (this includes the loss of our $250 deposit). They indicated that they had to replace the carpet and that there was vinyl damage in the kitchen. This is bunch of crap because everyone that helped us move told us how CLEAN our apartment was after everything was moved out. I work in the housing department for a nationwide, staffing firm and I have never seen such unethical business practices with an apartment complex. I am fighting the charges and may even bring a lawyer into the fight. Save yourself the trouble and don't move here. Tell all of your friends not to move here and have them tell all of their friends. These people are out for money and they will screw you in the end. Find someplace else! For those that have suffered the same fate, here's what you do. Take some time and file a complaint with the Better Businees Bureau. Make sure you file a complaint under Lionshead Apartments, Slosburg Properties, and the Richdale Group. This is one of the best ways to take care of unethical businesses. For those that had to pay out money, you should ban together and stick it to Lionshead. Laywers are a pain, but they do have a purpose. I noticed that some people mentioned getting together about this problem. Maybe the time has come for action.
